​A construction company carrying out a project in Kampung Tagap violated the Miscellaneous Offences Act (Chapter 30) after it was found to have dumped construction waste materials outside the construction area. Syarikat Seri Legenda Sendirian Berhad was issued a compound fine of $2,000.

Meanwhile, a workshop in Mukim Serasa was also issued a compound fine for dumping waste on the vacant lot of the premises in Kampung Sabun. Syarikat Poh Motor Service and Engineering Works was fined $500.

During the period from 2nd to 5th August 2025, five compound fines were issued to individuals for the offence of dumping waste in the Jerudong Beach area, namely three Filipinos; Roselyn Delos Poyos Alagon; John Phol Caliboso Alagon and Arman Dimaporo Jappalul and two Indonesians; Sholeh and Wahyu Setiawan. Each individual was fined $100.

The individuals and companies were ordered to settle the compound fines within 7 days.
